We have 2 men’s teams and 2 ladies teams playing in the local summer doubles leagues. This should provide everyone who would like to play league tennis with a chance to do so; it also allows us to provide some of the younger players the opportunity to play competitive league tennis. Membership spaces are available in the Men’s, Ladies and junior sections. So if you would like to join us please contact any of the people above or drop an email to gotheringtontennis@gmail.com.
Gotherington Tennis Club maintains its value for money. Annual fees for full members are £60 for adults with a reduced rate for ‘veterans (over 70) at £20 and £10 for juniors (those under 16 or in full time education). Membership gives you an opportunity to play social tennis up to 4 times per week – these sessions are open to all members and are highlighted below: –
WINTER (October to March)
Friday Afternoon 12:30 to 15:30 Doubles (one court)
Sunday Morning 9:30 to 12:30 Doubles
SUMMER (April to September)

So if it’s competition you are looking for, or a slightly less energetic and more a sociable experience in a beautifully scenic backdrop, then the tennis club could be for you. We really do cater for all standards of players with the emphasis on fun and enjoyment for all (although if there is a budding Andy Murray out there….). We are also offering to members free skills training by a qualified coach throughout the summer months and details can be found at our social media sites nearer the time of the training.
We hold ‘social’ events throughout the year and the best way to keep up to date with the club is through our social media sites:
