Early Oct 1995 Piste was excavated on the Playing Field (15m x 9M) 9th Oct 1995 Main ballast was laid
13/14th Oct 1995 Membrane fitted, top grit layer put down
14th Oct 1995 First boules thrown
15th Oct 1995 First playing session with 15 members.
We have playing sessions throughout the year on Wednesday and Friday afternoons at 2pm and Sunday mornings at 10am.
During May to September, we change from Friday afternoons to Friday evenings at 6pm.
The “piste” can be found behind the Village Hall and next to the children’s play area. New members and visitors are always welcome and boules are always available to borrow, please ask any committee member for more information or just turn up at the playing times mentioned.
Membership is £6:00 per year.
We have two teams, Gotherington Meteors and Gotherington All Stars both teams play in the Cotswold Petanque League.
